Direct Booking Process:
To reserve your stay:
- Enter the number of Adults and number Children, then select your check-in and check-out dates (note: 6night minimum July & Aug, 2night minimum Sept-June).
- Accept the Cleaning fee, and Security deposit.
- Select check availability
You will be taken to the Checkout page where you will enter your information and select “Request Confirmation”. Our team will then be in contact with you and will work to confirm your reservation.
Please note: In response to Muskoka Lake's Short Term Rental Licensing, we require a 6 night minimum during peak-season (July & Aug), and a 2 night minimum in the off-season (Sept-June).

We offer a number of secure booking options to reserve your stay at Lakeside Muskoka Haven to accommodate your booking preferences.
Booking options include:
- Website Direct Booking – submit inquiry directly through Lakeside Muskoka Haven website. We will communicate and coordinate with you directly via email or phone to finalize reservation. This will require photo identification of all adult renters, execution of a rental contract, and rental deposit.
- Payment method accepted:
- e-transfer, is accepted with no processing fees associated. E-transfer can be sent to “[email protected]“
- Square Debit/Credit Card Processing. All major debit and credit cards accepted. NOTE: There is a 2.9% processing fee for payments collected by Square.
- Payment method accepted:
- Cottages in Canada – submit inquiry through Cottages in Canada. To confirm your booking will require photo identification of all adult renters, execution of a rental contract, and rental deposit. Communication will be via Cottages in Canada platform and email.
- Payment method accepted:
- e-transfer, is accepted with no processing fees associated. E-transfer can be sent to “[email protected]”
- Square Debit/Credit Card Processing. An invoice can be sent via our website allowing all major debit and credit cards to be used. NOTE: There is a 2.9% processing fee for payments collected by Square.

- VRBO – to confirm your reservation through VRBO will require photo identification of all adult renters. Rental subject to VRBO booking fees. Communication will be via VRBO platform.

- AirBnB – to confirm your reservation through AirBnB will require photo identification of all adult renters. Rental subject to AirBnB booking fees. Communication will be via AirBnB platform.

Cottage Overview
Lakeside Muskoka Haven is a modern newly renovated Cottage suitable for families and mature groups. With 2,000 square feet of stylishly designed interior living space, this property is ideal for families or groups featuring four bedrooms and two full bathrooms (2 bdrms + 1 bath on the upper floor, 2 bdrm + 1 bath on the lower floor). The deck off the main level of the Cottage features; a BBQ (including pizza oven), outdoor dining area, and gas fireplace sitting area. The lower level features a covered patio (protected from the rain and elements) sitting area including gas fire table, and the property features a three season Muskoka Room with gas fire place perfect to curl up with a book, enjoy your morning coffee or evening night cap.

Payment Schedule:
● 50% due at time of booking.
● Remaining balance plus security deposit due 30 days before arrival.
Security deposit:
$750 (Security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of check-out).

● Cleaning fee: $300
Additional cottage rules and instructions provided in Cottage Rental Agreement.
All guests must be at least 30 years old, unless they are pre-approved as a child or family member of adult guests, or have written permission from the host in advance.
Have fun and make wonderful memories during your cottage stay, but please treat the property with respect and keep the noise to a reasonable level. Cottage Bay is quiet so no parties or loud music, please. Quiet hours between 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the cottage. All garbage and recycling must be removed from the property.
Municipal by-laws are fully enforced which among other items include; no fireworks, noise restrictions, and outdoor fire restrictions (locally posted).
If cancellation is received 60 days prior to the Check-In Date, all prepayments will be refundable. If cancellation is received between 30 – 59 days prior to the Check-In Date, 50% of prepayments are refundable. If cancellation is received less than 30 days from the Check-In Date, no refunds will be made.
